Ok, I am trying lately to wrap my mind around how to do Haiku worthily and this is like a lesson in perfection for me. Take something from nature and write about the nature, but have something of the human condition subtly slipped between the lines – implied. This Haiku is painful and relatable and raw with emotion.

Thanks! Yes, it is a very, very interesting challenge. Too easy to slip into simple and bland. How to let simple become complex, right? The funny thing is that until a year or so ago, I hated Haiku, and I was the last person to be willing to write one!
