Of Ohio churchyards,
Morning bells off
Belle Isle, Sanabel,
Tolling channel bouys,
Boys in bell-bottoms –
The sailors he loved,
Bluebells in Brooklyn
Sway without noise while
The waves change their watch
At eight bells
Ringing across the sound
Lost at sea.
