Throw a sunburn down
On winter thank you please,
A white heat for a white land –
The thin metal sky ignited,
Slow burning at the edges.

Brings up images of a blazing cold winter sunset. Thin metal sky ignited / slow burning at the edges – marvelous lines! I’ve seen that sky.

There is a point where heat and cold become almost indistinguishable – the sky, the quality of light. I like this very much.
