the Sheep-to-Shore phone rings you say ignore the elephant in the room during Thanksgiving dinner its ass-end smell turkey and gasoline from the fuming motor of democracy winching it through the doorway hoping the walls don't burst then we can just go back to where we left off our regular grift and holding our noses for Isaiah 53:6 all we like sheep
You betcha … gone astray for sure! Great write!!! First two lines, hysterical.

It is a crazy world we live in! I wonder if some ignore the elephant in the room or are just too blind to see it! Amazing word crafting as always Qbit! You say what needs to be said in ways only a poet could do!

Can you ignore the elephant in the room with his loud trumpeting noise? That elephant is over-stepping his boundaries. Democracy is crumbling

I’m not sure it’s a good idea to just go back to where we left off. For me that’s putting the blinders back on. That elephant needs to be evicted before it does more damage to the house!

Great wordcraft qbit! The right thing to do after Jan 20th! Joe Biden has a lot on his plate but the future direction is clearly wide open!

I’ve been waiting to go back “to where we left off.” This sheep surely has “gone astray.”

“sheep-to-shore” phone is hilarious, and the elephant in the room refuses to leave. Great poem, q!
